What All Parents Should Know "Children are our most valuable natural resource." —Herbert Hoover If I had known—and put into practice—the information you will find in the sections on the right side of this page, our family could have avoided many of our problems. We wouldn't have prevented all of them, for circumstances sometimes conspire to overturn the best of intentions. But in today's stressful world parents are well advised to get all the parenting material they can, and then apply what they learn, discarding the advice that doesn't fit their particular situation. In addition to the sections on the right, the sections on the left are especially helpful in giving you information relative to the developmental stages of your child. And one of the quickest ways to recognize the affirmations appropriate for different developmental stages is for you to view a special brief presentation of Words of Encouragement. You may also realize you didn’t hear important affirmations you would benefit from today. But it's never too late to learn what you may have missed. It’s never too late to learn how to build a strong family and raise children who will become resourceful, resilient and compassionate adults. This is why Stage 7 is important.
